WG6 transforms extracted and characterized fibers into functional products for the food, pharmaceutical, and packaging sectors. By conducting pilot trials, industry partnerships, sensory testing, and formulation optimization, WG6 bridges scientific research with real-world market needs. This group ensures that food waste-derived fibers are not only technically viable but also competitive, consumer-accepted, and ready for commercial adoption.
