WG6 coordinates the exploration of potential applications for extracted and characterized fibers in the food, pharmaceutical and packaging sectors. Through pilot trials, industry collaboration, sensory testing and formulation optimization, where appropriate, the group aims to assess technical performance, consumer considerations, scale-up requirements and market relevance. This work is intended to generate evidence on whether selected fiber-based concepts may progress towards viable prototypes and to identify the further development and validation required before potential commercial adoption.
