ENFiber Newsletter Issue 1 is now available
Explore the first milestones, activities and opportunities emerging from the growing ENFiber international network.
We are pleased to share the first issue of the ENFiber COST Action CA24111 Newsletter. Since its launch in September 2025, ENFiber has grown into a broad international network bringing together researchers, professionals and institutions working on the sustainable valorization of food and agro-processing side streams.

The first issue presents the Action’s early progress and key milestones, including the Kick-Off and first Management Committee Meeting, the Fiber Source Survey, the first Short-Term Scientific Mission call, the first ENFiber International Conference in Tartu and preparations for the Fiber 101 Training School in Ljubljana.
The newsletter also highlights the continued growth and diversity of the network, which had reached 644 Working Group members across 62 countries and territories by July 2026, as well as recent scientific outputs and upcoming opportunities within the Action.
ENFiber members are also invited to contribute short articles, research updates, project news, opportunities and event highlights to the next issue. Suggestions can be sent to enfiber@metu.edu.tr.
