Turning food processing waste into sustainable fibers
A European COST Action advancing circular bioeconomy through science, innovation, and collaboration.

The ENFiber COST Action (CA24111) addresses the challenge of food-processing waste by building the scientific and collaborative basis for investigating how selected food-processing by-products may be converted into high-value fibers. ENFiber brings together expertise across the value chain to investigate scalable extraction and characterization approaches, evaluate environmental and economic performance, consider regulatory requirements and explore potential applications.
